Autumn Huse – Quick Detour
Newcomer Autumn Huse takes a quick detour in her debut feature, shot by the photographer Cassandra Keyes. On the set of a classic gas station, we get to know more about Autumn. She’s a model and makeup artist and also works in costume and prop design. “My passion? The power of transformation,” shares Autumn. “Whether it’s through costuming, makeup, posing, or just embodying a vibe of a certain aesthetic or emotion— I think transforming in these ways is a reminder that we can reinvent ourselves in life as much as we want and become anything we want to be.”
For Autumn, that’s where her talent lies, too. “I’m most proud of my continued pursuit of personal and intellectual growth. I was going through the worst time in my life when I started modeling and built a career out of it from nothing,” she begins. “I’m getting certified in makeup artistry. I plan to purchase airbrush equipment soon to elevate my artistry once more. I strive to be a better costume designer and to learn to sew.
